David has dedicated a lot of the last decade to teaching music and theatre: thus the need to unwind with a beverage or two is essential. Recently DavidĀ played a tipsy vicar, a slightly wobbly monk and a party guest toasting for an entire 5 minute song in Theatre at the Center’s A Christmas Carol. David was music director and accompanist at Navy Pier’s Tall Ship production of Pirates of Penzance (blaming mistakes on the waves and not on the “special water bottle” under his bench). He’s also music Director at Bethany Union Church. David’s thrilled to be back at Davenport’s and hopes no one remembers his last appearance that ended with the microphone in a glass of Pinot Grigio.
