Michael has survived some frightening beverages: Riunite wine, Andre’s Cold Duck, Meisterbrau, Braumeister, Southern Comfort, Yukon Jack, Jagermeister, Rumplemintz, Zima, and the many horrifying flavors of the Boones Farm catalogue. He’s proud to say he’s moved on to Manhattans or Dirty Martinis or the classy beer and wine options this great city has to offer. A seasoned veteran/old man/wise old homo/cast chaperone, Michael has been seen on stage in such lovely productions as Paramount’s Hairspray (Edna Turnblad), the Chicago premiere of Bat Boy with Griffin Theatre (Sheriff Reynolds), and the North American tour of Flashdance: The Musical. Twice Jeff Award nominated (TimeLine’s Fiorello! and BoHo’s Pippin), he’s prepping his 4th cabaret show Gentlemen Prefer a Lady Song (performed at Davenport’s on January 7 and 14 – reserve your tickets here). There’s a shit ton of other credits, but let’s not dwell on those and concentrate more on the Maker’s Mark Manhattan he’s thinking about……..mmmmmmmmm………..
