Heather Townsend is a former lawyer turned proud wife, actor, and mother of two. Her most recent performance involved stylishly holding a margarita poolside at a wedding in Mexico, while wearing an immaculate white jumpsuit, as Micky sat on the ground next to the 24-hour snack bar feeding a raccoon. Other credits include her recent performance as Velma Von Tussle in Paramount Theatre’s Hairspray as well as productions with Mercury Theatre, Shattered Globe, Northlight, Remy Bumppo, Dog & Pony, Theatre Wit, Apple Tree, Next, and readings with the Goodman and Steppenwolf. Heather is delighted to serve as a Porchlight Music Theatre Artistic Associate, where she’s performed in productions of Nine, Sunday in the Park with George, The Gifts of the Magi and Macabaret. A graduate of Columbia University and The University of Chicago Law School, she would be happy to share a glass of Sancerre with you after the show. She probably brought her own.
